Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office Rolls Out Messages of Hope Campaign

If you’re out for a drive around Loudoun County and spot a patrol vehicle, you may notice something out of the ordinary that will pique your interest.

Loudoun County deputies are using their artistic talents, or borrowing the skills of others, to create rolling billboards of hope messages. It’s a social media campaign that the LCSO hopes will encourage community participation.

The Sheriff’s office shared a video on its Facebook page with some of the newly created messages on patrol vehicles. Many of the messages were of a similar theme regarding COVID-19 and social distancing.

Words of encouragement such as, “We can beat this together,” and “Don’t forget to smile,” can be seen on some of the patrol vehicles.

Residents are asked to share their artwork on their vehicles for “LCSO Rolling Billboards of Hope” by using the hashtag #LCSORBBOH and tagging the sheriff’s office.
