In honor of the National Day of Service The Catch A Program will host a Pantry Love Diaper Drive on Monday, January 18, 2021 from 1PM-4PM at The Jameson at Kincora. Pantry Love is a program that allows local community members and organizations to come together and collect items that are most needed in the community. 1 in 5 families in the DMV-area lives below the Federal Poverty Level and 0% of diaper needs are covered by food stamps and assistance programs (SNAP and WIC)s. Join us by donating diapers to help keep babies clean, dry and healthy.
The event will take place at The Jameson at Kincora 20725 Wood Quay Drive Sterling, VA 20166.
Help babies in need and struggling families in our community.
In accordance with local CDC guidelines, all donations will be received via a drive-through system that allows for social distancing. People will need to remain in their vehicles as volunteers unload their donations from their vehicles.

The second annual Powerful7 Fashion Show Fundraiser will be held September 18. The very special evening begins with VIP access and a special whiskey tasting by Uncle Nearest, followed by black tie dealer casino tables, special guest performance by jazz artist Tulani, silent auction, gourmet hor d’oeuvres, followed by the fashion show.

ONE SPARROW’S Solitaire Carroll established the organization with her husband to help provide better access to education and resources which in turn provide hope, empowerment, and a sustainable future. Participate in a one-mile walk through beautiful historic downtown Leesburg. Bring the family, organize a team, walk the dog, or just bring yourself. All are welcome!
A suggested donation of $50.00 will go toward A Helping Hand – a core program of Friends of Loudoun Mental Health. All dollars raised stay in Loudoun County and only support Loudoun County residents.
A Helping Hand
A program providing a hand up, not a hand out, to individuals that need the immediate support. The one-time gift of support to Loudoun County residents that are disabled by a mental illnesses, who are receiving professional care, and are in need of temporary financial help, benefit from the A Helping Hand program. Examples of funding include, money for an asthma inhalator, deposit for utilities, or boots for the winter season.

The Moms Collective is a membership based non-profit organization. The organization is currently pending 501(c)3 status. We are passionate moms in Loudoun County Virginia that support mothers and their children and other non-profit organizations in the county and beyond that support families in need.
The nonprofit, One Family Gives, has teamed up with The Pub in Purcellville to raise money for 10 military families.
There will be raffle tickets for merchandise and a grand prize to win a private party with a new vintage 1946 Chevy tap truck. A dollar per pint will go to One Family Gives to purchase the gifts for those military families in need this holiday season.

A Taste For History: Loudoun Museum Fundraiser
The Loudoun Museum’s annual fundraiser A Taste For History is an evening for celebrating history while enjoying a five-course meal with guided wine pairings and silent and paddle auctions.
All proceeds will benefit the Loudoun Museum, helping the nonprofit to bring history and community together as they preserve, explore, and engage people around Loudoun County history.
The evening will include:
5-course dinner with pairings, featuring wines from Doukenie, Stone Tower, and Amlés wineries.
A display of Loudoun Museum’s “Vintage Pursuits” exhibit on the history of Virginia wine.
Reflections on the Museum’s past and future by Executive Director Carrie Christoffersen.
Silent and live paddle auction of items ranging from art to experiences.
On Sunday, Oct. 8, St. Peter’s Episcopal Church, 37018 Glendale Street in Purcellville, is hosting their annual Bless the Pets event in celebration of St. Francis of Assisi, nature’s saint. This special service will be at 9:30 a.m., rain or shine. The community is invited to bring their animal friends of all sizes to be blessed.
“This annual event is an opportunity for church members and community friends to remember St. Francis’ devotion to God’s creatures and bless those that are such a blessing to us,” said Father Tom Simmons, of St. Peter’s Episcopal Church.
Rescue groups PetConnect and HART will have a several animals available to adopt and provide loving homes to these deserving creatures.
Please be sure that small animals are in a proper carrier and large or potentially quarrelsome animals are properly restrained.
