Every weekend in January, join VAL for socially distanced and wander among the wondrous ice sculptures displayed throughout Village at Leesburg. You can Drink in the Good Life with a beverage to go as you admire the sculptures. If you need a warming break as you are wandering around the property to see the sculptures, feel free to pop into one of our more than 60 boutiques, restaurants and entertainment experiences.

JWCL will be hosting a free homecoming dress event in the Teen Center at Rust Library. Please help spread the word!

Blood donation takes less than an hour and can save up to three lives. More than 250 blood donations are needed each day to support patients in our community. There is no substitute for blood. During an emergency, no matter how quickly emergency professionals respond, the individuals on-scene are best positioned to assist and potentially stop life-threatening blood loss. This is critical because a person who is bleeding profusely can die from blood loss within five minutes.
As part of the national Stop the Bleed campaign, the Inova Virts Miller Family Emergency and Trauma Center at Inova Loudoun Hospital hosts free courses designed for community members who may find themselves at the scene of an emergency. Course attendees will enhance their emergency preparedness by learning the difference between bleeding and life-threatening blood loss, and how to react to both.
Complete an online education course at your convenience, and then join INOVA staff on Monday, Nov. 15 for an in-person skills training workshop where you’ll experience hands-on practice with tourniquets and wound packing. Practicing these skills will give you a deeper understanding of what it means to Stop the Bleed and the confidence to help someone in an emergency.

Mobile Hope’s Christmas Village will bring joy to kids for its 10th season. The campus will transform into a Christmas Village, COVID-safe, drive-through Christmas event at 302 Parker Court, SE in Leesburg for pre-registered families in need.
Last year, the holiday event served 2,534 children in need with toys, stuffed animals, diapers and seasonal clothing.
Registered clients will drive through the Christmas Village, as children are entertained by elves, holiday music, festive lights and delightful decorations.
Santa will also be there!

BriteWash auto wash is now open and welcomes customers to its ribbon cutting and grand opening celebration. There will be free car washes and complimentary food and drinks. Additionally, the event will have a DJ, face painting, balloon art, prizes and giveaways.
The VIP ribbon cutting will be at 10 AM.
Loudoun County, VA– The Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office (LCSO) will hold the 10th Child Safety Day in partnership with the Town of Leesburg Police Department on Nov. 5, 2022, at the Village at Leesburg.
This free event will be held from noon to 4 p.m. and will feature emergency vehicles and displays from the LCSO, the Leesburg Police Department, the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), the Office of the Loudoun Commonwealth’s Attorney, Loudoun County Child Advocacy Center, Loudoun Abused Women’s Shelter, Loudoun Child Protective Services, Loudoun County Combined Fire and Rescue System, Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), Inova Loudoun Hospital Pediatrics, the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children, and the Ryan Bartel Foundation.
Many of the displays at Child Safety Day will provide information to parents on how they can protect their child from becoming a victim of a crime.
This year the LCSO will again invite Loudoun youth to “lend a hand in fighting crime” by dipping their hands in non-toxic, washable paint and placing their handprints on a sheriff’s office patrol car.
The event will also include live entertainment and games.
