The Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office (LCSO) has partnered with GotSneakers to help raise money for Mothers Against Drunk Driving Loudoun (MADD). Adult and children sneakers can be donated. THE LCSO asks that they be tied together and brought to one of the LCSO stations on or before March 31, Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The LCSO will accept all styles and conditions of sneakers. After the sneakers are collected, GotSneakers will process and distribute these sneakers around the world specifically within impoverished nations using micro-enterprise partners helping those in need. The sneakers that are damaged are processed and ground into surfaces for playgrounds, gym floors, tracks, outdoor courts, and synthetic turfs.

The second annual Powerful7 Fashion Show Fundraiser will be held September 18. ONE SPARROW’S Solitaire Carroll established the organization with her husband to help provide better access to education and resources which in turn provide hope, empowerment, and a sustainable future. One Sparrow understands the importance of community partnerships that “share knowledge, resources, strengths, passion, and encouragement with families who are left feeling distraught and alone in the midst of hardship.” Since 2013, One Sparrow has been successful in raising awareness locally, donating funds for durable medical equipment, basic medicine, education, and educational enrichment programming for hundreds of children whose families lack the resources.

We are passionate moms in Loudoun County Virginia that support mothers and their children and other non-profit organizations in the county and beyond that support families in need.
Saturday, October 16th from 10am to 1pm come celebrate the relocation and opening of the new Youth Development Center! Come out and enjoy Trunk-or-Treating, crafts, bike auctions, stories and other fall festival activities. Tours will also be available of the new center.

The nonprofit, One Family Gives, has teamed up with The Pub in Purcellville to raise money for 10 military families.
There will be raffle tickets for merchandise and a grand prize to win a private party with a new vintage 1946 Chevy tap truck. A dollar per pint will go to One Family Gives to purchase the gifts for those military families in need this holiday season.
