Every weekend in January, join VAL for socially distanced and wander among the wondrous ice sculptures displayed throughout Village at Leesburg. You can Drink in the Good Life with a beverage to go as you admire the sculptures. If you need a warming break as you are wandering around the property to see the sculptures, feel free to pop into one of our more than 60 boutiques, restaurants and entertainment experiences.
Great Country Farm is hosting an in-person egg hunt. This year’s egg hunts will be by time slot so guests can enjoy a relaxed, socially distanced hunt for treasures.
The egg hunts are broken down into two age groups. There is one for 2 & 3 year olds and one for 4 to 10 year olds. The egg hunts includes up to 25 treat filled eggs per child. One adult may enter the hunt area to assist their child.

What’s better than waking up with the kids on Easter morning to discover your yard is covered in brightly colored, candy and trinket filled eggs? Not having to sneak outside and scatter eggs yourself without getting caught is certainly a big help!
For a $50 donation, Friends of Loudoun County Animal Services will deliver 30 eggs to your yard on Saturday night and place them in an area designated by you. They will text you before arrival to let you know they’re on the way, and again when they’re leaving so you know the job is done.

Organized by the Historic Waterford Foundation, this in-person walking tour will focus on the history and architecture of the village of Waterford, focusing on Black History Sites. Waterford was within the part of Loudoun County known as the Underground Railroad route. It was also a haven for free Blacks. Settled by Quakers, the village offered more opportunities for African Americans than most other places in the south. Black historic sites in the village are numerous, and include Second Street School, a one-room school funded by Quakers; a Freedmen’s Bureau which served Black residents from 1867 to 1957; and the John Wesley Methodist Episcopal Church, a Gothic Revival church built by and for African Americans in 1891. The town has many other well preserved homes and workplaces where free and enslaved African Americans lived and worked.
The tour is organized and conducted by the non-profit Waterford Foundation, which has played an important role in revitalizing Waterford and providing information and tours for the public.

The show features noteworthy and diverse guests who are amplifying community issues, and focuses on creating a forum for increased access to critical information that our communities need to improve their daily lives. Get the Tea aims to be inclusive, and feature real people with real experiences who discuss issues that impact our families and communities. Each episode presents an issue, ideas for solutions or action, and a message of hope. Additionally, the show will conduct interviews with prominent figures, such as celebrities and politicians, on topics that impact our community.

The Moms Collective is a membership based non-profit organization. The organization is currently pending 501(c)3 status. We are passionate moms in Loudoun County Virginia that support mothers and their children and other non-profit organizations in the county and beyond that support families in need.
During an emergency, no matter how quickly emergency professionals respond, the individuals on-scene are best positioned to assist and potentially stop life-threatening blood loss. This is critical because a person who is bleeding profusely can die from blood loss within five minutes.
As part of the national Stop the Bleed campaign, the Inova Virts Miller Family Emergency and Trauma Center at Inova Loudoun Hospital hosts free courses designed for community members who may find themselves at the scene of an emergency. Course attendees will enhance their emergency preparedness by learning the difference between bleeding and life-threatening blood loss, and how to react to both.
Complete an online education course at your convenience, and then join INOVA staff on Monday, Nov. 15 for an in-person skills training workshop where you’ll experience hands-on practice with tourniquets and wound packing. Practicing these skills will give you a deeper understanding of what it means to Stop the Bleed and the confidence to help someone in an emergency.
