In honor of the National Day of Service The Catch A Program will host a Pantry Love Diaper Drive on Monday, January 18, 2021 from 1PM-4PM at The Jameson at Kincora. Pantry Love is a program that allows local community members and organizations to come together and collect items that are most needed in the community. 1 in 5 families in the DMV-area lives below the Federal Poverty Level and 0% of diaper needs are covered by food stamps and assistance programs (SNAP and WIC)s. Join us by donating diapers to help keep babies clean, dry and healthy.
The event will take place at The Jameson at Kincora 20725 Wood Quay Drive Sterling, VA 20166.
Help babies in need and struggling families in our community.
In accordance with local CDC guidelines, all donations will be received via a drive-through system that allows for social distancing. People will need to remain in their vehicles as volunteers unload their donations from their vehicles.

Willowsford Cares is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization (some employers will match your donation!). All funds received will go to the Hickeys.
2. Choose how you’d like to participate:
– Run/walk a 5k in a safe location of your choice.
– Do a 1-mile fun run with your kids.
– Namaste in bed for 30 minutes to snuggle/sleep/reflect.
– Do something fun with your family.
For any of the above, wear your Danielle’s Tribe t-shirt or anything purple, white, pink or red!
3. Post a public pic to social media when you finish your challenge with the hashtag #YouveGotThisDanielle. Or you can post it here on the event page!

What’s better than waking up with the kids on Easter morning to discover your yard is covered in brightly colored, candy and trinket filled eggs? Not having to sneak outside and scatter eggs yourself without getting caught is certainly a big help!
For a $50 donation, Friends of Loudoun County Animal Services will deliver 30 eggs to your yard on Saturday night and place them in an area designated by you. They will text you before arrival to let you know they’re on the way, and again when they’re leaving so you know the job is done.

Get the Tea is a new digital talk show created and hosted by Buta Biberaj. The show features noteworthy and diverse guests who are amplifying community issues, and focuses on creating a forum for increased access to critical information that our communities need to improve their daily lives. Get the Tea aims to be inclusive, and feature real people with real experiences who discuss issues that impact our families and communities. On Sunday, Oct. 8, St. Peter’s Episcopal Church, 37018 Glendale Street in Purcellville, is hosting their annual Bless the Pets event in celebration of St. Francis of Assisi, nature’s saint. This special service will be at 9:30 a.m., rain or shine. The community is invited to bring their animal friends of all sizes to be blessed.
“This annual event is an opportunity for church members and community friends to remember St. Francis’ devotion to God’s creatures and bless those that are such a blessing to us,” said Father Tom Simmons, of St. Peter’s Episcopal Church.
Rescue groups PetConnect and HART will have a several animals available to adopt and provide loving homes to these deserving creatures.
Please be sure that small animals are in a proper carrier and large or potentially quarrelsome animals are properly restrained.
