Learn how to become an authentic and transformative leader with NEST inspires virtual workshop on October 16. The Zoom workshop is suitable for ages 10 and up.
Uma Panch, a speaker, trainer, and researcher based in Australia, will be leading the event. You can learn more about who she is at www.umapanch.com.

Mobile Hope’s Christmas Village will bring joy to kids for its 10th season. The campus will transform into a Christmas Village, COVID-safe, drive-through Christmas event at 302 Parker Court, SE in Leesburg for pre-registered families in need.
Last year, the holiday event served 2,534 children in need with toys, stuffed animals, diapers and seasonal clothing.
Registered clients will drive through the Christmas Village, as children are entertained by elves, holiday music, festive lights and delightful decorations.
Santa will also be there!
To sign up to wrap, decorate, or volunteer at the event, email getinvolved@mobile-hope.org.
The Loudoun County Animal Shelter will host a fee-waived adoption event to get homes for as many animals as possible before the holidays.
The adoption event will be held from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 18. The day-long event will take place at Loudoun County Animal Services’s new shelter at 42225 Adoption Drive in Leesburg.
Loudoun County Animal Services announced that they would also take in dogs and cats from under-resourced shelters around the area before the event to help as many animals in need find a home for Christmas.
Join NEST4US for a service project in honor of Martin Luther King Jr. Day. The nonprofit will host “Nourish 2 Flourish” a zero-hunger initiative where volunteers will pack and provide grocery bags for people facing food insecurity.
Brighten the day of families in need with these bags, giving them nourishment and hope! The nonprofit will join thousands of Americans across the country who will be celebrating the national holiday honoring the life and work of Dr. King by doing service in their communities.
