Get the Tea is a new digital talk show created and hosted by Buta Biberaj. The show features noteworthy and diverse guests who are amplifying community issues, and focuses on creating a forum for increased access to critical information that our communities need to improve their daily lives. Get the Tea aims to be inclusive, and feature real people with real experiences who discuss issues that impact our families and communities. Loudoun County Animal Services is hosting a “Clear the Shelters” event on Saturday, Sept. 18. All adoption fees will be waived.
The free pet adoption event will be held at the animal shelter from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday. The shelter, which moved to a new location over the summer, is located at 42225 Adoption Drive in Leesburg.
Dogs, cats, rabbits, and other small pets are available for adoption at the shelter. All dogs, cats, and rabbits are spayed and neutered before going home with their new owner. Those animals are also microchipped.
Dogs and cats receive age-appropriate vaccinations before the adoption, the shelter said. Anyone interested in adopting a pet can view available animals online at the Loudoun County Animal Services website.

A Helping Hand
A program providing a hand up, not a hand out, to individuals that need the immediate support. The one-time gift of support to Loudoun County residents that are disabled by a mental illnesses, who are receiving professional care, and are in need of temporary financial help, benefit from the A Helping Hand program. Examples of funding include, money for an asthma inhalator, deposit for utilities, or boots for the winter season.

The Moms Collective is a membership based non-profit organization. The organization is currently pending 501(c)3 status. We are passionate moms in Loudoun County Virginia that support mothers and their children and other non-profit organizations in the county and beyond that support families in need.
The Loudoun County Animal Shelter will host a fee-waived adoption event to get homes for as many animals as possible before the holidays.
The adoption event will be held from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 18. The day-long event will take place at Loudoun County Animal Services’s new shelter at 42225 Adoption Drive in Leesburg.
Loudoun County Animal Services announced that they would also take in dogs and cats from under-resourced shelters around the area before the event to help as many animals in need find a home for Christmas.
Beginning Friday, March 18, children and their families can enjoy meeting and taking keepsake photos with the Easter Bunny. Professional photos will be taken in Center Court on the Lower Level.
