The Moms Collective is a membership based non-profit organization. The organization is currently pending 501(c)3 status. We are passionate moms in Loudoun County Virginia that support mothers and their children and other non-profit organizations in the county and beyond that support families in need.
During an emergency, no matter how quickly emergency professionals respond, the individuals on-scene are best positioned to assist and potentially stop life-threatening blood loss. This is critical because a person who is bleeding profusely can die from blood loss within five minutes.
As part of the national Stop the Bleed campaign, the Inova Virts Miller Family Emergency and Trauma Center at Inova Loudoun Hospital hosts free courses designed for community members who may find themselves at the scene of an emergency. Course attendees will enhance their emergency preparedness by learning the difference between bleeding and life-threatening blood loss, and how to react to both.
Complete an online education course at your convenience, and then join INOVA staff on Monday, Nov. 15 for an in-person skills training workshop where you’ll experience hands-on practice with tourniquets and wound packing. Practicing these skills will give you a deeper understanding of what it means to Stop the Bleed and the confidence to help someone in an emergency.

Mobile Hope’s Christmas Village will bring joy to kids for its 10th season. The campus will transform into a Christmas Village, COVID-safe, drive-through Christmas event at 302 Parker Court, SE in Leesburg for pre-registered families in need.
Last year, the holiday event served 2,534 children in need with toys, stuffed animals, diapers and seasonal clothing.
Registered clients will drive through the Christmas Village, as children are entertained by elves, holiday music, festive lights and delightful decorations.
Santa will also be there!

Celebrate the beginning of spring in the historic Morven Park gardens with games, crafts, and our popular egg roll down the Davis Mansion lawn. This year we’re offering something better than a traditional egg hunt! We’re setting up Hippity Hop Stops featuring crafts and activities for all ages. Get your Hop Stop Passport stamped as you make your way through our gardens, posing for Instagrammable moments along the way, and collect candy and goodies. Be sure to meet rabbits from the 4H Leaps and Squeaks Rabbit Club and take your own family photo with the Easter Bunny.
Celebrate the holidays and get your groove on with the Jingle Bell Rock & Run. Run the races or bring your little ones for the 1-Mile Jammie Jingle! Then, enjoy loads of fun at the after party. Let your kids meet with Santa and take part in the festivities that will be sure to put you in the holiday spirit.

CHARITY BENEFICIARY: INOVA Life with Cancer
INOVA Life with Cancer’s purpose is to enhance the
quality of life of those affected by cancer by providing
evidence-based education, support, wellness programs
and integrative therapies.
On Sunday, Oct. 8, St. Peter’s Episcopal Church, 37018 Glendale Street in Purcellville, is hosting their annual Bless the Pets event in celebration of St. Francis of Assisi, nature’s saint. This special service will be at 9:30 a.m., rain or shine. The community is invited to bring their animal friends of all sizes to be blessed.
“This annual event is an opportunity for church members and community friends to remember St. Francis’ devotion to God’s creatures and bless those that are such a blessing to us,” said Father Tom Simmons, of St. Peter’s Episcopal Church.
Rescue groups PetConnect and HART will have a several animals available to adopt and provide loving homes to these deserving creatures.
Please be sure that small animals are in a proper carrier and large or potentially quarrelsome animals are properly restrained.
