Every weekend in January, join VAL for socially distanced and wander among the wondrous ice sculptures displayed throughout Village at Leesburg. You can Drink in the Good Life with a beverage to go as you admire the sculptures. If you need a warming break as you are wandering around the property to see the sculptures, feel free to pop into one of our more than 60 boutiques, restaurants and entertainment experiences.
Every year, Give Choose highlights non-profits in the community and draws much needed attention and funding for the wonderful work they do. While the official day for Give Choose is March 16th, you can make your donations early. There are 115 non-profits participating this year.

Great Country Farm is hosting an in-person egg hunt. This year’s egg hunts will be by time slot so guests can enjoy a relaxed, socially distanced hunt for treasures.
The egg hunts are broken down into two age groups. There is one for 2 & 3 year olds and one for 4 to 10 year olds. The egg hunts includes up to 25 treat filled eggs per child. One adult may enter the hunt area to assist their child.

Celebrate Earth Day with Gus, a giant dog puppet, who leads you on a STEM-inspired adventure around the globe. Brought to you by Bright Star Touring Theatre, Gus encourages you to help the Earth through recycling, energy conservation and creative thinking.

JWCL will be hosting a free homecoming dress event in the Teen Center at Rust Library. Please help spread the word!
There are hundreds of beautiful, brand new and gently used dresses available to give away to teens. The event is Saturday, September 18th, 12-4 pm.
No reservations or appointments needed. The event is free to attend with a free dress to take home. Dressing rooms are available.

Help end the stigma that surrounds mental illness. One in 5 American adults will suffer with a mental illness in any given year.
Participate in a one-mile walk through beautiful historic downtown Leesburg. Bring the family, organize a team, walk the dog, or just bring yourself. All are welcome!
A suggested donation of $50.00 will go toward A Helping Hand – a core program of Friends of Loudoun Mental Health. All dollars raised stay in Loudoun County and only support Loudoun County residents.
A Helping Hand
A program providing a hand up, not a hand out, to individuals that need the immediate support. The one-time gift of support to Loudoun County residents that are disabled by a mental illnesses, who are receiving professional care, and are in need of temporary financial help, benefit from the A Helping Hand program. Examples of funding include, money for an asthma inhalator, deposit for utilities, or boots for the winter season.
Mobile Hope’s Christmas Village will bring joy to kids for its 10th season. The campus will transform into a Christmas Village, COVID-safe, drive-through Christmas event at 302 Parker Court, SE in Leesburg for pre-registered families in need.
Last year, the holiday event served 2,534 children in need with toys, stuffed animals, diapers and seasonal clothing.
Registered clients will drive through the Christmas Village, as children are entertained by elves, holiday music, festive lights and delightful decorations.
Santa will also be there!

On Thursdays, Bluemont Vineyard hosts “Love Local Night” with a purpose to spark a season of giving back to charities in Loudoun County.
Love Local guests are invited on the patio for a countdown to the illumination of the lights with a toast to support HeroHomes. The organization focuses on building houses, jobs, and communities for those who have fought for the preservation of freedom and democracy for others. They provide the opportunity for disabled veterans to rejoin society with the security and pride of homeownership.
Guests looking to support HeroHomes but are not able to be onsite for the profit-share night are invited to join virtually at 5:30 p.m.
Tickets are $15.00 per guest and include a welcome beverage.
Beginning Friday, March 18, children and their families can enjoy meeting and taking keepsake photos with the Easter Bunny. Professional photos will be taken in Center Court on the Lower Level.

This year we’re offering something better than a traditional egg hunt! We’re setting up Hippity Hop Stops featuring crafts and activities for all ages. Get your Hop Stop Passport stamped as you make your way through our gardens, posing for Instagrammable moments along the way, and collect candy and goodies. Be sure to meet rabbits from the 4H Leaps and Squeaks Rabbit Club and take your own family photo with the Easter Bunny.
