Children Uplifting Children: Mobile Hope Asks Loudoun Kids to Write Kind Notes to Children in Need

Coronavirus isolation can create loneliness for all— particularly for children. Unlike adults, children may not always have other ways to socially connect with friends during this unprecedented time. The scenario may be exacerbated for children from low-income families in Loudoun.

Fortunately there is a simple way your child can help these children cope and connect.

Mobile Hope is asking children in Loudoun County to write kind letters to children who may feel isolated during the Coronavirus pandemic. The nonprofit would like to put a note in each bag that is delivered to families as part of the “Listen for the Honk” Mobile Hope bus initiative. The Mobile Hope bus visits impoverished communities throughout Loudoun County delivering bags of donated food, hygiene products and more.

The goal for Mobile Hope is to collect 1,000 notes. If your child can’t write, have them draw an uplifting picture.
