ECHO to celebrate participants and give tribute to nonprofit

The nonprofit, ECHO, is to host a tribute event for the organization and its participants on June 2.

The “ECHO’s Big Day Out” event will be a celebration for ECHO participants and a tribute to the organization’s mission that started 48 years ago.

ECHO exists for one reason: to Empower Individuals for Life. The organization’s mission is to empower adults with disabilities to achieve their optimal level of personal, social, and economic success by offering lifelong support through skill building, job placement, day support, and transportation. The Big Day Out will provide an opportunity for the 180 participants at ECHO to have fun and build memories.

To celebrate its participants and ensure the best party, ECHO’s Big Day Out will host on June 2, 2023, at the National Conference Center in Leesburg, VA, and will contain fun-filled activities such as cotton candy by The Floss King, games, super heroes welcoming ECHO participants on the red carpet upon arrival, magic by Michael Chamberlin, a tie dye t-shirt making station, an ice cream sundae bar, and a photo booth and music.

To gather support for their event, ECHO has a variety of sponsorships available and volunteer opportunities. Donations and sponsorships for ECHO’s big day out will immediately benefit the people that they support and further the mission of ECHO. Current sponsors of ECHO’s Big Day Out include First Citizens Bank, Toth Financial Backflow Technology, M.E. Flow, Fortessa, You’ve Got Maids, and Banker’s Insurance.
