If you’ve been enjoying the town of Leesburg’s outdoor dining program, you’re in for a real treat. The town has decided to extend and expand the program to run Friday, Saturday, and Sunday until November 8.

The program, which began July 31, allows downtown restaurants to expand their capacity by providing outdoor seating along South King Street from Market to Loudoun streets. Initially it was to only run until October 24.

Participants include Black Hoof Brewing Company, Delirium Café, Echelon Wine Bar, King Street Oyster Bar, Leesburg Gourmet and The Wine Kitchen.

Street closures will continue to occur at 3:30 p.m. Outdoor dining hours will run 4 p.m. to 10 p.m. Friday and Saturday, and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday.
