The Loudoun County Public Library (LCPL) is getting back to normal and thrilled to do so, according to its public announcement. The library branches will be extending hours and bringing back many of the services put on hold since the start of the coronavirus pandemic.
Now that Virginia has lifted many of its restrictions on indoor gatherings, LCPL announced that all of its branches will reopen at 100% capacity. The times will be from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Thursday, and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Friday and Saturday.
LCPL says will not require face coverings for fully-vaccinated individuals. For the unvaccinated visitors, masks will still be encouraged and freely provided.
Computer services, in-person browsing and materials checkout will be available. Curbside pickup will remain as an option during operating hours.
Meeting and study rooms will be usable again. Also, LCPL’s summer reading program is set to kick off on June 16.
For complete details regarding which services are being brought back, see LCPL’s announcement.
