A local Purcellville business is doing its part to keep other businesses afloat during uncertain times.

Valley Energy sent restaurant customers that utilize its gas services a bill for zero balance. The message said, “Your most recent delivery of propane has been billed out at NO CHARGE. We recognize these times are uncertain times, but we wanted to acknowledge our gratitude for all you are doing to keep our community an amazing place to live and do business. Thank you!”

More Better Restaurant in Round Hill and Market Burger in Purcellville both took to social media to express their appreciation on Thursday.

On Instagram, morebetterbeer captioned the above photo with the following:

“BLOWN AWAY! While going through all the bills and trying to figure out how to pay them #thestruggleisreal, we got this gas bill from @valleyenergy : “Your most recent delivery of propane has been billed out at NO CHARGE. We recognize these times are uncertain times, but we wanted to acknowledge our gratitude for all you are doing to keep our community an amazing place to live and do business. Thank you!” Seriously so unexpected and so very helpful. It made me tear up and our family can’t thank you enough Valley Energy!

Market.burger also shared a photo of the bill and captioned it: “A HUGE thank you to @valleyenergy for this $0 bill for our last propane fill! You guys are the best and we can’t thank you enough. Your next staff lunch is on us.”

Tim Murphy, owner of Valley Energy said in a statement, “We are just thankful that we have a great relationship with so many restaurants we deliver propane to on a weekly basis… all year round. This was our way of thanking them for the other 51 weeks of business they provide to us.”
