First came love, then a marriage ceremony, and yes— even a baby skeleton’s birth.
The Peterson family in the Lakes at Red Rock community have been keeping neighbors entertained this October by posing their decorative skeletons in daily scenes.
Kimberly Peterson said the family began the skeleton adventures last year. “The elementary children absolutely loved seeing the skeletons before they got on the bus in the morning,” she recalled.
With Halloween looking different this year and distance learning for all the kids, Peterson said the family decided people could use an extra laugh this spooky holiday season. “We decided to move it daily in the hopes that it would brighten the world for a few people,” she said. “We did not expect such a great response.”
Neighbors are finding bone-chilling excitement from the daily spectacle. The skeletons have been documented on social media with neighbors guessing what is to come next.
“Seeing people’s faces light up makes it worth it,” she said. “There have been nights we’ve just wanted to head to bed, but we think about everyone it’s making happy.”
