Free Meditation and Happiness Program for Healthcare Workers

The outbreak of COVID-19 may cause fear, anxiety, and overwhelming emotions—but there are ancient techniques to calm and manage these feelings.

The Art of Living Foundation, a global non-profit organization, has been offering breathing and meditation workshops locally for over 15 years. Currently, the program is offering a Happiness Program twice a month and a free, hour-long introductory session weekly online.

You can find a list of free meditations and events here. Furthermore, healthcare professionals can access workshops entirely for free right now. A professional license number is required to register. To enroll in one of the wellness programs, click here.

“The Happiness Program, which has been taught in person to millions across the world, has been adapted to a new online platform, and tailored specifically to busy healthcare providers,” said Jaya Patil, Lansdowne resident and local Art of Living instructor. “The self-paced format can be accessed from anywhere, and in just a few minutes, will equip health care workers with powerful, evidence-based breathing and meditation techniques.”

The core value of The Art of Living Foundation “is to find peace within oneself and to unite people in society – of different cultures, traditions, religions, nationalities; and thus reminding us all that we have one goal to uplift human life everywhere.”
